Obligatory mod post.
08:13pm 05/07/2004
mood: bored
I hope everyone is having a great summer! I invited a bunch of people to this community but nobody really wanted to come. All I have to say now is RECRUIT, RECRUIT! I'm sure there are some people I missed when I slogged through the LJ masses to find FRCS people. Some people only update once a century, so they don't check their comments anyway. Ah, well. Hope everyone had a great Fourth of July and got to see some fireworks.

I have a very long personal summer reading list, and I've decided to write a book (or rather, finish one I already started). Is it obvious that I don't have a life? I've read 4 novels since this summer has started.

In case anyone doesn't know already and wants to, I am the official mod. of this community...but seriously people, don't bitch to me if nobody ever posts...You can all post your fun stuff here or whatever. I leave you now with links:

http://www.homestarrunner.com <--it's fun, but I'm not really sure what it is.

http://www.bored.com <---I don't love this site. You have to be REALLY bored. It's basically just a links list anyway.

http://www.theonion.com <--I love The Onion. It's my favorite newspaper. Just don't take anything literally.

http://www.readerville.com <---Forum for people like me who read 4 novels in 2 weeks. Don't go here unless you REALLY REALLY like to read.

So...in hopes of starting some sort of posting sequence, or at least conversation, what movies have you seen/ books have you read/ stuff have you done, etc.?

I kind of want to see Spiderman 2 but I'm really not a sequels person. I've heard good things though. Has anyone seen it yet?

07:49pm 06/03/2004
Okay, so I belong to this book forum, http://www.readerville.com, and they have a discussion on Virginia Woolf, which I normally don't pay attention to. But I went and posted a question. This might be of interest to people, it might not.
here goes:Collapse )

There may be more responses later as well. Have a nice weekend, folks!

mood: hyper
What have you left to do?

FOR STANDARD ENGLISH PEOPLES: Read Jane Eyre... have you?
FOR AP HISTORY BUFFS (Sam and Valerie): 22 & 23, anything more?
FOR CHEMISTRY (all present): Chem Lab

The rest of ya'll... I dunno ^_^

Hear ye, hear ye! Save thy rebuttal! Entrance ye foe by swimming ye lake of unintersting tasks! Enter the domain by surviving yonder rock-climbing! Knowest all within for only thou can survive the temple of thy Silver Monkey! Only thou art able to take upon the crazy monkey guards!!!!!!

*jumps off foam boulder in lake of uninteresting tasks as hyperness takes over*

On another note, the returning of school as nipped me in the butt. I've meant to accomplish something academically this week (like getting intot he mood of college letter reading), but the time has come and gone. Tomorrow is the last day of solitude and soon we all will see each other again.

amn, it's also too late to get a haircut too... stupid Sundays

Let's see here...

There is me (Scott), Sam, Sarah Gray, Valerie, and Lindsey. I think only Sam and vla would get this joke, but I am a minority here! Heheh.

How are you all holding up? Vacation week is stressing me out for one. Nothing to do... driving me insane! I hope to see you all in a few days and hope you enjoyed your ski trip(s) today.

This lovely post is the first in the Community. This should be fun.

For my first act I would like to say that people should go here. This site gave us the following Junior Class Couples:

Sarah and Ryan
Lindsey and Dave
Casey and Emmett
Val and Cory
Sam and Scott

Not that anyone should get any ideas. I don't think many of us will be happy with these results....
